After a small summer pause, I release new version of the JPlayer. Unlike of previous updates this is BETA because I made large modifications.
WARNING: don't use beta at active web pages. It's for testing purposes only.

Few day ago joomla.org released Joomla! 1.7. I tested my plugin JPlayer 1.6.2 with Joomla! 1.7 and seems it work full correctly. It you have problems with Joomla! 1.7 please leave comment under article. Thanks
PS: Finally I have some free time and now I work on new features and answered your questions in support.

This update contains two new features and one fix:
- show only to registered users - enable this option in backend and your video/audio can view only registered users. Don't forget customize css for the best look in your template.
- autoplay Youtube videos - autoplay option now work with youtube player too
- player colors fixed - fixed custom player colors (backcolor, lightcolor and screencolor)
Of course i updated both series of JPlayer, 1.5.x for Joomla 1.5 and 1.6.x for Joomla 1.6.

Some users reported problem with language file in JPlayer 1.6. Solve the problem by manual copying new language file or reinstall JPlayer.

Few days ago i released JPlayer 1.6.0 for Joomla! 1.6 and today is here new version. This update contains two new features:
- multilanguage support - JPlayer from today using Joomla's ini language files. This mean only one. JPlayer can be translated into many languages (only backend yet).
- templating system - updates don't breaking your custom styling. For deails see documentation.
Of course i updated both series of JPlayer, 1.5.x for Joomla 1.5 and 1.6.x for Joomla 1.6.
I update web page too:
- documentation - i updated JPlayer documentation
- feedback - i created feedback book for your feature requests, bug reports and etc.
- homepage - new home page with news. You can subscribe RSS/Atom feed and you will alway know news from JPlayer page
I noticed, nobody downloads article button for JPlayer. Nobody wants easily add tags to article?
